Bantwal: The phenomenal Tulu entertainer film(based on a play) ‘Oriyardori Asal’ (One- up on others ,which has crossed 50 days in DK theatres in 3 places, has opened in Bantwal Cross Road (B.C. Road) on Sunday, July 31,amidst fanfare and high publicity by creator V.K. Kodialbail, a Tulu playwright.
The picture had more than 10 local artistes in the current craze in DK, but people were kept out here till Sunday, to see the successful film running in Mangalore, Puttur, Udupi and other towns. Presently, Nakshatra theatre opened its gates for the people here to see  the comedy.
Several artistes like Navin D.Padil and Rajesh Bantwal, Came over to gather public opinion on the Tulu film.
Co-artistes like Santosh shetty and Jayaram Acharya were also present on the thrilling occasion,to meet viewers at large and partake of their enthusiasm.
