Mangalore : The students of Roman and Catherine Lobo Blind School were distributed CDs on the history of India’s struggle for freedom by 92.7 BIG FM on August 14 in the school premises.
The team of 92.7 BIG FM, Mangalore recorded 92 pages of the history of Indian Independence, stories of little-known freedom fighters and national heroes, history of national flag, and the national anthem were recorded for the students of the blind school.
Mr. Vijayanath Shetty, Trustee of Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple-Mijaru and Director of Seva Bharathi Trust Dr. U V Shenoy were the chief guests oin the event. Principle of Roman and Catherin Lobo Blind School Mr. Calistus was present on the occasion.
Delivering the key note address, Chief guest Dr K N Vijay Prakash appreciated the 92.7 BIG FM team for their work, which conveys a good example to the society and work for the betterment of the society.
A demo and distribution of audio CD followed the inauguration.
RJ Raj of 92.7 BIG FM was felicitated by Mr. Vijayanath Shetty for contributing his voice to the audio CD.
