Ujire: The organic manure (natural refuse) farming compost can reduce evil effects on the health of the people due to its enhanced food quality, raised from the soil during ploughing and seasoning of the earth for better yield, said Mamatha Shetty (Belthangady TP chief) speaking as a chief guest in the 13-day horticultural training programme, conducted by RUDSET in its valedictory season held at Ujire in Siddavana, on Sept.13.
Shridhar Bhide, who heads Belthangady taluk Rubber growers and sellers’ co-operative society, informed in his talk, that cooperative societies were trying hard to give scientific ratings to farmers’ various crops.
