Mangalore: Dr. Vinayachandra Shetty, Principal of Ayurveda Medical College Moodubidri inaugurated the Arya Vaidya Sala Mangalore branch at TV Raman Pai Hall on September 28 Wednesday
Speaking on the occasion, he said that today there is very less use of Ayuirveda in other place compared to Kerala. Hence Ayurveda became the substitute word for Kerala or vice versa.
He also said that people are going away from the principles of Ayurveda and hardly find the aspects of Panchakarma in it.
In Mangalore, there are around 7 to 8 Panchakarma Centres and which have changed to the massage centers and lost its meaning. He urged the practitioners to adopt the principles of Ayurveda. In Ayurveda, out of all the benefits, health benefit is important
He added that today most of the leading companies do not follow the principles of Ayurveda.
BJP Unit President Srikar Prabhu, said that the modern lifestyle of people decreases the life span of people.
He also said that Ayurveda is the oldest form of medicine, not invented for the country, but for the humanity purpose.
