Mangalore : The members of JD (S) staged a protest at Mahatma Gandhi Park near Town Hall on October 23, Sunday.

 Addressing the protestors, JD (S) district president Sadashiva M. B said that state government has shown its basd administration with the power crisis in the state.

The members demonstrated to protest against power crisis, hike in the price of seeds and fertilizers, corruption and farmers harassment.

He also said that the government has fooled people with their false assurance to provide 24 hours power.

The fertilizer which was available at Rs. 360 was increased to Rs. 600 – 700 as soon as the  BJP came to power.

Vasant Poojary, M. G. Hegde, Aslam, Ramganesh, and other JD(S) leaders were also present.
