Mangalore : Bearys Global InfoTech Limited (BGIL), a new IT brand belonging to Bearys Group, was launched on Wednesday. Dr. B. M. Hegde, the former vice chancellor of MAHE, inaugurated the new office of the company. He wished the new company well in his inaugural address.

Syed Mohammed Beary, the chairman of Bearys Group, addressed the gathering and said that the company aims to provide services to a large number of small and medium industries in the locality.

Altaf Raja of Motorola said in his address that he finds it necessary to put in extra efforts to progress in these difficult days of economic recession. Stating that the IT industry has changed standards of living and has brought diversity into the job market, he said that the IT industry needs to change some of its ways, especially the ways in which it provides solutions.

Among the dignitaries present were M. V. Shrinvasan, the economic advisor of Oil and Gas Affairs to the Sultanate of Oman, and Praveen Kumar Kalbavi, the CEO of the new company.
