Mangalore : AJ Shetty, chairman and managing director of AJ Hospital and Research Centre inaugurated ‘Spectrum 2012’, a one-day scientific symposium on cardiovascular research and therapies at Hotel Ocean Pearl on Jan 22 Sunday.

Dr. B. V. Manjunath, the chief interventional participated as the chief convener of the symposium.

Senior cardiologist Dr. A. V, said that the people in the medical profession must have service minded.

Ramesh Pai, the dean of AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, even though there are advances in the medical profession, the clinical diagnosis is necessary.

Dr. Ullas Panduranga, the leading cardiologist at Madras Medical Mission, Dr. K. Shrinivas, Dr. Jayaranganath, and Dr. Prasanna Simha of Shri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research participated as the resource persons.
