Udupi: Addressing the valedictory session of Madhwa Navadinotsava(9 Day Festival) in Rajangana at the Sri Krishna Temple premises on Wednesday, Krishnapura Math seer Vidyasagara Tirtha assured that God was realised by knowledge, and not found in money matters. Madhwacharya’s main goal was to know God and every devotee should try to get this knowledge in his lifetime.

Paryaya Math seer of Sode, Vishwavallabha Tirtha offered a special worship for Madhwacharya, the Guru of duality. A portrait of the eminent Guru one among three such was placed in a golden chariot, and taken round the car street in Udupi temple on February 2.

Later in a separate programme held today, the Sode Math Swami felicitated Vedic scholars, Hayavadana Puranik, K. Haridas Acharya and 23 other pundits and experts. Winners of a Quiz competition also received their prizes from the Paryaya Swami.
