Mangalore: Rahim Uchil, chairman of Karnataka Beary Academy, who was critically wounded after an attack by sharp weapons of 2 masked(Muslim) youths, on March 15 at his Academy office around lunch hour in Attavara, is now recovering in a private hospital after the near murderous violent attack for no specific reasons.

The Coastal city Police in DK have arrested Umar Farooq from Ullal as one of the suspects in the attempt to kill Rahim. Pandeshwar Police station people have taken a few youths into custody for questioning a couple of days ago. During the ‘treatment’, Farooq was held. CPC Singh had sent 4 teams to catch the attackers.

On Thursday(March 22) the police revealed that Farooq was in the six member gang, of which two Muslims had barged into Rahim’s office, and fled like cowards after injuring him, on their mobyke. Farooq will be made to reveal the whole plot behind Rahim’s assault.
