Bangalore: Union minister of state for Railways, K.H. Muniappa from Kolar inform local Press Club members in a dialogue on Monday, March 26, that his department faced staff shortage in a severe way, as there was a need for 1 lakh workers in various departments. Mysore-Bangalore will be developed as twin cities like Hubli-Dharwad, and Hyderabad-Sikandrabad, by railways, bus routes and airways. The Bangalore-Shimoga-Talguppa rail track was ready for train movements. Trains between Mysore and Bangalore had to quickened and developed, along with bus roads. Trains have started moving from Talguppa to Hassan and Mysore, and Bangalore-Talguppa railway route has to be developed, Muniappa stated.
