Mangalore:  “Breaking News” the much awaited film of eminent Kannada film director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar is set to be released on May 18. Apart from the 80 theaters across the state, the film will also be simultaneously released even in the US, UK and Australia.

Informing this to reporters in Mangalore on May 11, Thursday, Chandrashekhar said the film with Ajay Rao and Radhika Pandit in the lead roles depicts the broadcast journalism of the modern times with a touch of humour. Other cast of the film includes Anantnag, Rangayana Raghu, Karibasavaiah, and former international athlete Rohith Kumar from Mangalore.

Nagathihalli said he picked up the story from a book from a well-known author in the United States.
