Mangalore: If everything goes as per plan, then Mangalore too would have a district administration complex at the land on the adjacent to the National Highway at Bangrakulur near Kulur within the next one and half period.
Already the neighboring Udupi district has Rajatadri, an administration complex. Taking initiative in case of DK, Deputy Speaker Yogish Bhat has held talks with Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda some time back and made an appeal in this regard. The CM, it is learnt had asked Bhat to identify land for the purpose
Presently plans are afoot to develop an administration complex at the 9 acre land at Bangrakulur which was earlier identified for a cricket stadium. The proposed project is expected to cost Rs 30 crores and Yogish Bhat has plans to develop this administrate complex as a model one in the whole of the state.
Presently, efforts are on to prepare a blue print and if everything goes well the project would be ready within the next couple of years, Yogish Bhat exudes confidence.
