Bangalore: “Who is the man in the blue shirt?” This question was raised by even the High Court while hearing a public interest litigation filed by a Bangalore lawyer seeking CBI probe into the recent Morning Mist attack by Hindu activists.
The question came after the judges had apparently watched the TV images of the barbaric act. The man whom the judges were referring to is Ganesh alias Munna alias Kaati Munna, a close accomplice of Subhash Padil, the mastermind of the moral policing incident that has hit the national headlines.
Ganesh has been accompanying Padil since long and both have a criminal past. Though initially both were in the Bhajrangdal, and then defected to the Sri Rama Sene and now the Hindu Jagarana Vedike. Sources say Ganesh too might have been involved in the infamous pub attack of 2009.
