Mangalore: Rajya Sabha Member and Senior Congress leader Oscar Fernandes visited the Morning Mist Home Stay at Padil on August 4, Saturday , almost a week after the Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists raided the place and attacked partying youngsters.

Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Oscar strongly condemned the incident and assured to raise the issue in the Rajya Sabha.

Oscar said he was hurt by the incident and added it has brought shame on the district. He also said the human rights commission would also be requested to look into the case.
