Bangalore : Subhash Padil, the mastermind and the main accused in the Morning Mist Home Stay attack case will be booked under Goonda Act. This was what State Home Minister R Ashok told reporters in Bangalore. He further said there was no question of hesitation in initiating action against the accused.
The Home Minister said already 22 persons have been arrested in connection with the attack. Padil has already been arrested.
Additional Director General of Police Bipin Gopalkrishna meanwhile said the report on the home stay attack would be submitted to the government within a couple of days and that already the interim report has been submitted. He said the final report will also be submitted to the High Court as it has already sought a report during the hearing into the PIL.
On the State Women’s Commission Chairperson Manjula coming down heavily on the police department and blaming its negligence which she said was responsible for the attack, he said the investigation was progressing well and the police had arrested eight accused within eight hours of the attack.
