Udupi : Thousands gathered at Carstreet and various other places of the town to  catch a glimpse of the face Vittlapindi celebrations of Sri Krishna Temple.

The  Celebrations aim at highlighting the childhood pranks of Lord Krishna. A clay idol of Lord Krishna which was worshipped at the Temple was taken out in a golden palanquin and later immersed in the Madhwa Sarovar.

Sri Vishwa Vallabha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Sode Mutt, installed the clay idol  on the palanquin and offered pooja. The Krishnapur Mutt seer accompanied the Paryaya seer on the chariot.

The Huli Vesha teams added a special charm and grace to the celebrations.
