Mangalore:  D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of  Dharmasthala,  released a book entitled ‘ Legal Opus  mattu Pearl of Wisdom Journal” on the valedictory day of the  four day international conference on ‘Re-thinking Religion in India” held at SDM Law College in Mangalore .

Speaking on the occasion, Dharmadhikari Dr Heggade emphasized the need for a deep rooted study on religion mainly because  enmity and hatred in the name of religion had led to several wars too.

Religion is embedded in each and every thing, he said and added it was a route to reach the almighty.

He also released a book ‘Bhavaikya ondu Chintane”  authored  by Vedavathi. Prof Balagangadhar Rao, Director of  Belgium University, Prof SA Bari, Vice Chancellor Kuvempu University, Dr Devaraj, Principal of SDM College of Business Management,  Prof. BK Ravindra, Principal of SDM Law College and others were present.
