Mangalore : National Youth Day and Yuvajanotsav camp was inaugurated at the Ramakrishna Mutt premises in Mangalore on January 11, Friday by RSS leader and Kalladka Sri Rama Vidya Kendra President Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat. The programme was held under the joint auspices of the Dakshina Kannada district administration and Ramakrishna Mutt.
Speaking on the occasion, Kalladka Bhat said Swami Vivekananda instilled the spirit of patriotism among hundreds of revolutionaries and countrymen in the pre-independence era. He further said the nation was facing several problems today as it has shown its back towards the ideals, thoughts and philosophies of Swami Vivekananda.
He said Swami Vivekananda had called upon the people to shun western way of life. There is no need to accept western lifestyle while inculcating western technology is alright, he added.
Bhat further said Swami Vivekananda and his Guru Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa wanted Hindutva of India to spread to every nook and corner of the world
Swami Jitakamanadaji, President of Ramakrishna Mutt, Mangalore, N Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker, Karnataka Legislative Assembly, N Prakash, Deputy Commissioner, DK, Dr. K N Vijayprakash, CEO, DK Zilla Panchayat, Capt. Ganesh Karnik, MLC, and others were present.
