Udupi: He is a great reformer, educationist, a leader among people, a senior pontiff of the world wide known Sri Krishna Math in Udupi-all rolled in to one, a simple monk at that. He passed away this day (Sept.15) in 2009. This is his first memorial anniversary in death.
He built 26 Poorna Prajna educational institutions in India, an auditorium for Udupi cultural activities, helped poor but talented students to make a mark in society, founded USKDB education society, a guest house in his Admaru Math (one of the 8 maths in Car street) in Udupi, and adorned Lord Sri Krishna idol in many ways, and spread the Dwaitha Siddhantha all over West Coast. He built houses for the poor and the lost in Bangalore Floods, in Bagepalli (Kolar) and in Udupi. He presented learned papers and made discourses in international gatherings too.
