Dharmasthala : The 16th year Bhajana Kammata including bhajan training concluded on September 14, Sunday.
Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade presided over the programme.
Minister for Forests, Ecology and Environment B Ramantha Rai and Urban Development Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, participated as the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, DK District In charge Minister B Ramantha Rai said that, Bhajan helps people to go towards spiritual activities through self purification.
Brahmananda Saraswati Swami of Sriram Kshetra, delivered the benedictory speech on the occasion.
Dr D Veerendra Heggade said that, the aim of Kammata is to teach and implement the concept of healthy living by reciting the bhajans of gods for good deeds.
Prior to the valedictory ceremony, a procession and a bajanotsav were carried away. Around 42 Bhajana mandalis from 17 taluks participated in the Bhajan training programme.
