Bajpe : A businessman found dead hanging himself at his residence near Gurpur on Thursday, March 26. 

The deceased Gajanana Prabhu (55) owned a Central Cloth Store in Gurpur. He was also president for District Merchants’ Association.
 
Sources said, He was found talking to someone on his cell phone till 10 pm on March 25, Wednesday, when his family members entered his room he was found hanging from fan in his room on Thursday morning.

Prabhu is survived by wife and a daughter. Bajpe police have registered a case.
