Belagavi : The Congress leaders say why Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are coming to Karnataka. The BJP will be very happy if Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi come here for the campaign as the Congress Party has lost whereever the duo gone for the election campaign, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking after campaigning for the Yamakanamaradi BJP candidate Basavaraja Handri on Wednesday, he said the coming election will be historic. The double-engine government led by the PM Modi is working for the development of the nation. Those who want development will support the double-engine government and those who don’t want development vote for the Congress Party. Thanks to the double engine government, 6000 km road had been built at a cost of Rs 60000 crore. The Belagavi-Kuduchi railway line is being made into the double line. The Kisan Sanman scheme has become possible due to the double engine government.

The CM said the Congress leaders are agitated as Union Home Minister Amit Shah mentioned Modi’s name. Whereever Modi has gone, therr the Congrrss-Mukth has happened. The Congress means corruption and corruption means Congress. They indulged in corruption in BDA and the purchase of mattresses and pillows for SC/ST students.
