Mangalore :  ‘Blend-The Essence of Nature,’ an art exhibition by Asha Shetty, organised at the Prasad Art Gallery was inaugurated by  Dr M Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation on March 22, Friday.

In his address, Dr Alva highlighted the contributions of women to the field of art.

Vishnu Shevgoor, senior artist of Mangalore and Dr Ashajyothi Rai, Chairperson of Aasare Charitable Trust, were present as chief guests.

The Artist Asha Shetty also expressed her thoughts on the occasion and expressed her gratitude to her drawing teachers Niveditha and Kamal who helped her excel in the field.
