Karkala : Bajrang Dal activists along with the Karkala police raided a illegal abattoir near Tellar Bangwadi here on Thursday January 12.

The accused succeeded in fleeing from the spot  before the raid. A huge quantity of beef, bones were found in the spot.

On Thursday, the Bajrang Dal activists informed the police and went there. They found over a quintal of beef and a weighing scale at the spot in addition to bones.

The miscreants had fled along with their tools, sensing the raid.
