Mangalore: Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Prof. TC Shivashankeramurthi inaugurated the new BBM Block of the University college on January 18, Friday.
In his address, he said a sum of Rs 2.3 crore is being spent on infrastructure facilities in the college, out of which Rs 80 lakhs will be spent on a new block with eight rooms and an auditorium. A post graduation centre is also being planned at an estimated cost of Rs 1.1 crore, he said. Prof Shivashankermurthy also stressed the need to impart quality education
Contractor of the newly-built BBM building Hemanth Shetty was felicitated.Mangalore University Registrar Prof P S Yadapadithaya,Former registrar of MU Prof Chinnappa Gowda , Principal of University College H R Laxminarayana Bhatta, Head of Department of Political Science Dr Parvathi A and others were present.
