Mangaluru : Bhakti Bhandari Basavanna Jayanthi was celebrated at Jilla Panchayat Netravati Auditorium on Friday May 14th.

District incharge minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary and BJP state President Nalin Kumar Kateel offered floral tribute to a portrait of Basavanna.

Mayor Premakanda Shetty, Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Dr. Kumar, General  Secretary of the Coastal Veerashaiva Welfare Association, Guru Moorthy, Secretary Vivek Shetter and Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture Department Rajesh and others were present.
