Brand new Maruthi Swift slips into water

car drowned in harbourMangalore: In a unusual incident, a brand new Maruthi Suzuki Swift fell into the backwater of the Bunder Harbour on June 29, Wednesday.
Reportedly, the driver had parked the car near the backwater when owner of the car Abu Hurair of Ullal went to his office near by. Later, one of the shopkeepers in Bunder informed Hurair about the
matter at 1:00 p.m. It is clear that the car had slipped into neutral gear, moved for a short distance, and had fallen into the water when the driver had left it for a brief period. Then it retrieved with the help of a crane.
When the owner reached the spot, he could see the parking lights. During this 2 hours hardship to lift the car, a large number of local people gathered at the spot to watch and help them.
