Vitla : A 38-year-old motorcyclist and a 47-year-old pillion rider were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a car in Kepu village near Vitla on Sunday.

According to Vitla police, Umesh Naika (38) was riding the motorcycle with Vasant Naika (47) as pillion. The two were going from Vitla towards Kasaragod. At Kepu, a car coming from Kasaragod hit the motorcycle head-on around 5 p.m. The two fell off the motorcycle. They died while being moved to a nearby private hospital.
