Udupi : A bus owner lost his life after getting crushed by the tyres of his own bus at a garage near Atrady in Manipal on Wednesday.

The deceased is Dayanand Shetty, owner of Mandavi bus.

He had come to the garage to inspect the bus which was under repair. As he was standing infront of the bus, an unaware technician started the bus and in a matter of no time Shetty was crushed to death under the tyres of the bus.

A case has been registered in Manipal police station.
