Mysuru: K Marigowda, a close aide of CM Siddaramaiah and Mysuru ZP former president, who was absconded after threatening Mysuru DC C Shikha surrendered in front of Mysuru police on Wednesday.
As the court refused to grant him anticipatory bail, he had withdrawn the bail plea from the court, which was an indication of surrendering to the police.
Today he surrendered in front of Nazarabad police with his lawyer.
It is said that he was absconded in a hotel room at Kerala’s Kottam as his bail plea was rejected by the police.
Mysuru DC Shikha had filed a complaint against Marigowda for threatening her about her transfer. As soon as the complaint was filed Marigowda was on run.
