Bengaluru : Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for launching the ‘Agniveers’ military recruitment scheme.

The scheme provides an opportunity for the youth of the nation to wear the military uniform and serve the country on a short and long term. It is a revolutionary scheme, Bommai said in a tweet.
