Comedy actor Bullet Prakash dies at 44

bullet prakashBengaluru : Popular Kannada comedy actor Bullet Prakash passed away today (April 6). Aged 44, his sudden demise has sent shockwaves in the Kannada film industry with many celebrities grieving his loss.

The actor was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru recently where he had been put on a ventilator. According to reports, the actor was diagnosed with gastric and liver infection.

The actor had apparently lost 35 kgs all of a sudden and this led to a lot of health issues. Sources also say that he didn’t shoot for any films for almost three months now.

Earlier today, the hospital where he was admitted, released a statement that said, ” Despite all the treatment measures, he is still in a critical state. We are keeping at constant check on his health and are keeping his family updated on the same.” However, now his demise has come as a shocker.

The actor participated in the second season of popular reality television show Bigg Boss. He had also shared screen space with top actors in Kannada film industry.

Prakash was fondly known as Bullet, as he was often seen riding a Royal Enfield Bullet. He had been a part of more than 300 films and had recently signed a couple of projects in Kannada. He had joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 2015.
