Mangaluru: “The Congress has failed to fulfil the promises made during the election through manifesto. As per the manifesto they should have not hike the self assessment tax (SAT), but it has seen only hike in SAT nothing else,” said Mangaluru South Assembly Constituency BJP President Vedavyasa Kamath.
Addressing the press personnel on Friday at district BJP office he said that most of the policies implemented by the government are anti-people policies.
“Congress has forgotten the people who have voted them. Anti-people policies of the government will be condemned by staging protests in coming days,” he said.
Further he said that an eye donation camp will be organised by Mangaluru South Assembly Constituency BJP to mark the birth anniversary of former PM Atal Bihari Vajapeyee on December 25 at district BJP office. Many volunteers including BJP leaders will be voluntarily donating their eyes on that day.
Further speaking about cashless system in district he said “cashless payment system should be implemented in the district and the Mangaluru South Assembly Constituency BJP will be holding workshops and other programmes to aware the people regarding this,” he added.
MCC Opposition leader Roopa D Bangera, BJP Leaders Ravi Shankar Mijar, Brijesh Chowta and others were present.
