Mangalore: Senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojari has strongly condemned the raid on the Morning Mist Home Stay at Padil by Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists and demanded stern action against the attackers.

Speaking to reporters, he said this was nothing but an intelligent way to molest girls. He also blamed the ruling BJP government in the state for its failure to take steps to prevent such incidents.

He said the stern action which the police need to take against the perpetrators of this attack should serve as a warning to others against resorting to such acts. He further added such incidents created fear in the minds of the public.

On the chaos that prevailed in the Congress office prior to the induction of JR Lobo into the party, Poojari said such things should not take place. He said such things should not be repeated.
