The Congress having bitten the dust in its incessant campaign against the ruling BJP, ever since Dr. G Parameshwara took over as the state unit chief, has again criticized BJP rule as a “curse” on the state, and that the Government led by Yeddyurappa had spent public money on wasteful ways, under its own whims and fancies.
The C was ruling in state by corrupt methods, nepotism and operation Lotus, which go against the Indian Constitution in character. He has been showing rosy dreams about development to the people of the state while looting the assets of the state, he ruled, said the Congress chief Karnataka referring to long advertisement appearing in daily new papers, put out by BJP leaders, on completion of 3 years of state rule as on May 30. He criticized the style of working BJP had adopted, during these years (2008-11)
Dr. G Parameshwara complained that CM Yeddyurappa had actually taken the Karnataka state to the edge of insolvency by conducting endless festivals in form or the other, wasting large sums of money.
In the last 3 year, the BJP did not complete any developmental work n the state, but conducted own infights and various struggles to retain power on hand, as an elected govt. but not for the people.
BJP performed ‘Operation Lotus’ by poaching Congress and JDS legislators, in a bid to keep power in its own hands, in an unconstitutional way. BJP must take credit for misusing the position of speaker of the legislative assembly and contaminating its august seat, the Congress leader added with a touch of sarcasm, talking to media on Monday, on ads appearing for BJP, on completing 3 years of rule in Karnataka.
