Mumbai : The death toll in the five-storeyed building collapse in Mahim on Monday evening has gone up to six, with two more persons succumbing to injuries.

One more person was extricated from the rubble this morning, but he died on way to hospital. Another injured also succumbed to injuries taking the toll to six.

More persons are still feared trapped inside the rubble. Relatives of Rizwan Merchant, lawyer for actor Sanjay Dutt, are reported to be missing.

Firemen, NDRF personnel and local residents rescued 10 persons from the debris, out of which five of them succumbed to injuries.
