Mangalore: The well known Fr. Muller’s Medical Hospital and College is the first to be attached to the Rajiv Gandhi Medical University in Karnataka and is now accorded a new recognition being in the ‘A’ grade of institutions in that University. The college teacher’s microbiology, biochemistry and pathology to its students and comes under Mangalore University.
Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa, administrator of FMMC, in a press meet held on Nov.21, stated that the college as always strived maintained a high stand of medical education to those who seek knowledge of Medical treatment and Nursing.
Fr D’Sa continued that the recognition given by the Medical Assessment Board in the ‘A’ grade speaks of the hospitals commitment to high standards of learning and teaching. The ‘A’ grade given now adds to the responsibility of maintaining even higher standards in the college and hospital, he added.
Dr Sanjeev Rai, chief of medical service, FMCI, Dr Jayaprakash Alva, dean, FMMC, Dr Narasimman S, vice dean among others were present.
