Mangaluru : Three districts Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu districts has been declared holiday on August 14. Holiday for schools, pre-university colleges and degree colleges due to heavy rains.

Since four days heavy rains have continued to lash across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

Dakshina Kannada and Udupi school- colleges remained closed on Saturday and Monday owing to the for the heavy rains.
