Mangalore : The new film ‘Brahma Shree NarayanaGuru Swami’ is the 50th Tulu film, which spreads the message of preaching’s of Brahma Shree Narayana Guru Swami, said film director RajashekarKotian.
Speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Janatha Delux, Kodialguthu on May 7, Wednesday, he said that he has worked in 19 films, including three tulu film, whereas it is the first tulu film directed by him, but sad to see only a few coming to the theatre to watch this movie.
Kotian also said that the team is paying the rent of Rs 1.25 lakh per week for the theatre and the theatre manager is not ready to screen the movie in the coming days due to lack of viewers.
He also said that, the team did not compromise with the quality while shooting the movie in places like Kerala, Barkur, Ina, Mulki, Beltangady and used modern camera techniques.
Around 8000 audio CD’s of the Brahma Shree Narayana Guru Swami film has been sold, which is a record. Although the film has been released in 5 theatres, the audiences are very poor. The film was not done to make profit, but want the people to watch it and support the efforts of team and its directors.
Film team comprising of Suryodaya, Deepak Kotian, Ranjeeth, Gagan, Chandrashekar Suvarna, Balakrishna Shetty and others were also present.
