Kumble police arrested two cattle thieves near Peruvadu

Cattle Thieves Kasargod : Kumble police have arrested two cattle thieves in a operation conducted near Peruvadu petrol bunk near Kumble on Sunday July 6.

The arrested have been identified as Nassar (32) from Kumble Arikkad, and Ismail (40), a native of Mangalore.

They are involved in several cattle theft cases in Kasargod and Kumble. A team of Kumble police led by police sub-inspector, Jacob, stopped an auto rickshaw near Peruvadu petrol bunk near Kumble, and inspected the vehicle.

Police found two goats were transported in the three-wheeler. The thieves confessed to having stolen these goats when the police questioned.

The police confiscated a car that was following the auto rickshaw as escort vehicle.

The both produced before the court; they were remanded to judicial custody.
