Cow conservation campaign ‘Mangala Go Yatra’ arrives in Udupi

Mangala Go YatraUdupi: Campaign which is creating awareness regarding the importance and conservation of cows ‘The Mangala Go Yatra’ arrived at Udupi on Friday.

The yatra was welcomed in a grand procession from Jodukatte to Rajangana at Krishna Math.

Addressing the gathering in a formal function at Rajangan Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Swamiji said that cows are the gems of the society. We are forgetting the importance of the cows.

“The government is neglecting cow slaughtering. Even the society is also equally responsible for it. If the cow slaughtering is stopped in the country, then it will be considered as the real development of the country,” he said.

In his message Vishweshatheertha Swamiji of Paryaya Math said that cow slaughtering is the slaughter of humanity.

“We should unite to save the cows. It cannot be done by a single person. Raghaveshwara Swamiji has taken the initiative of it,” he added.

Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji, Shree Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji, Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji and others were present.
