Mangaluru : Chief minister B S Yediyurappa arrived at Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday, December 21.
Kota Srinivas Poojary, district in-charge minister, MLAs Sanjeev Matandoor, Vedavyasa Kamath, and Bharath Shetty were accompanied the CM at Airport.
Speaking to the reporters Chief minister B S Yediyurappa said that, will study the whole detailes of violence incidents which took place in the city on Thursday.
CM said, I arranged a discussion on the present situation in Mangaluru city with the police commissioner and higher officials of the district. I have also requested district in-charge minister and MLAs of Mangaluru to monitor the situation and assist people in their difficulties.
“I will hold another meeting with police officers and elected representatives to take important decisions on the situation. It is my request to people to please cooperate with police to maintain law and order which is very necessary in this difficult period,” he said.
CM Yediyurappa hold a meeting with police officers and elected representatives at Mangaluru Circuit House.
After that the CM will visit Manipal to see Pejawar Swamiji who is admitted at a private hospital.
