Mangalore : Dr A Subrahmanyeshwara Rao, Superintendent of Police of Dakshina Kannada district along with R Ramesh, Deputy Commissioner of Police and Praveen Madhukar Pawar, Superintendent of Police of Udupi have been listed in the transfer order among 24 IPS officers, recived by the Karnataka state government on March 21, Monday.
With the transfer of these officials there has been the major reshuffle in the police force. According to the transfer order, Dr A Subrahmanyeshwara Rao has been posted as SP, Internal Security at Bangalore. While the official Labu Ram is expected to take charge as the new SP of DK district.
R Ramesh has been posted as SP of Uttar Kannada district, while Pawar has been posted as SP of Gulbarga district while he will be replaced by Bidar SP YS Ravi Kumar and former Puttur ASP Amith Singh has also been promoted and posted as SP of Hassan.
