Sullia: A photographer was murdered and buried on a forest belonging to the Forest Department has come to light on the 24th Novemner in Ishwaramangalam, Sullia Taluk.
The victim identified as Jagdish Shetty (58) Son of Shambhu Shetty of Shivanagar near Kuluru and currently resident of Subrahmanya Nagar in Mysore.
Jagdish Shetty had come to Sullia from Mysore to see his farmland and mysteriously disappeared. It is now learned that the case of missing has taken turn and he was buried in a forest belonging to the Forest Department.
Jagdish Shetty was a photographer by profession and lived with his wife Sharmila and son 9th grade student Shashank in Subrahmanya Nagar, Mysore.
It is said, He was murdered by his father-in-law Bhalakrishna Rai alias Somappa Rai and his son Prashant, his wife Jayalakmee and son’s friend, Jeevan Prasad, a photographer..
Now, after the complaint was lodged, it was revealed that the police had arrested three persons who tried to hide the case.
