New Delhi : “ I already have an experience of resigning from the state cabinet and will not hesitate to resign again if the situation needs so,” this was the categorical statement made by Karnataka Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje who is in Delhi to meet the high command leaders.
Shobha’s Delhi visit is in the backdrop of a recent letter to the high command from CM Sadananda Gowda and Karnataka BJP Chief Eshwarappa seeking disciplinary action against her.
She further said “The Chief Minister is independent to take any decision to drop any minister. He may even decide to drop me and I will have no objection,” said Shobha. It is learnt, the CM’s letter to the high command was on the pretext of a statement made by Shobha some time back warning of the presence of ‘Meer Sadiqs’ in the party.
