Bangalore: The Kasturba Road in Bangalore experienced mild tremors at around 3.30 pm on Monday sending waves of panic. People were seen rushing out of buildings into the open amid the heavy rains.
Most of the people working in upper floors of the buildings on this road experienced the tremors and many even said they saw their computers shaking. In a flash of a second, thousands were on the streets. The tremors lasted for just a few seconds. However, experts say there was no need for panic as such mild tremors were common.
