Mangalore : Deputy Commissioner of Mangalore Commissionerate D Dharmaiah released the 6th edition of OneCity Yellow Pages 2012-13 at Press Club on June 29, Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said earlier people used to find difficulty in getting the details like address and telephone number of health centre, police and other services, but now the yellow pages have made it easy by providing all the necessary information in one book and helpful to find any information within sometime.
The Yellow Pages have made an effort to collect thousands of number from various categories, he added.
A Bashir, director- Finance & Operation of OneCity Yellow Pages said that the multicolour directory is very user-friendly and is in accordance with international standards. It is a compilation of commercial firms, business units, industries, educational institutions and other services sectors like travel and tourism pages, emergency and public utility services, STD/ISD and postal codes.
Copies of the OneCity Yellow Pages will be circulated free of cost throughout Mangalore and Udupi. The edition is supported by online search-based internet yellow pages www.mangaloreyellowpages.com and dialcity telephone service from 9 am to 7 pm”, he informed.
OneCity Yellow Pages has over 2,000 advertisements with over 35,000 verified business listings. OneCity will distribute the copies of the new yellow pages free of cost across Mangalore City and surrounding areas of Udupi, Puttur and Kasargod and copies can be collected from office as well(2433999).
