Madikeri: Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar has exuded confidence that the BJP government in the state would complete its five year term.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion of his maiden visit to Madikeri, the chief minister claimed that the state has witnessed unprecedented development during the past four and a half year period. He also said much progress has been registered after he took over as CM.
He also stated that he was striving his level best to solve the Baane land row, one of the main problems of Kodagu. On the Cauvery row, he said the state has sought time from the Centre to find a permanent solution to the problem.
Asked about the demand to dissolve the Assembly placed forth by former CM Yeddyurappa, Shettar said he was running the administration without a black spot. The state government would complete its full term and will come out successfully even in the next elections.
