Odiyooru RathotsavaVittal : A chariot shows us the path of life. We should consider our body as a chariot and   take it forward by controlling our Panchendriyas through the  rope that pulls the chariot,said Sri Gurudevananda Swamiji of Sri Kshetra Odiyoor.

He was speaking at a Dharma Sabha arranged at Sri Gurudeva Datta Samsthana at Odiyoor on February 20, Wednesday as part of the Rathotsava of Sri Kshetra Odiyoor after  inaugurating the silver jubilee of Shree Samsthan.

Odiyooru RathotsavaIt is a tragedy that confusions are created in the society by the educated themselves, the seer said adding  ignorance about dharma is  predominant, he said  the Kshetra would in the days to come organize a programme called Tulu Ratha Oyipuga, with the co-operation of the Tulu Academy.

Sadhwi Sri Matandamayi blessed the occasion.

Nataraja KN, Additional Advocate General of Karnataka High court who was the special invitee stressed the need to imbibe noble virtues in children at an early age.

Odiyooru RathotsavaThe 11th edition of Hanuman Chalisa by Anand Hegde Mumbai was released by Krishnaprasad Madtila, President of the Kukke Subrahmanya Temple Management Committee.

Several dignitaries including Manjunath Bhandari, Managing Trustee of Sri Neelakanta Umamaheshwari Temple, Adyapadi, Narayana Shetty, President of Pune unit of Gurudeva Seva Balaga, Jayanth J Kotian, Mangalore unit chief  Ashok Kumar Bejai, Odiyoor unit chief, KP Raghuram Shetty, Kanyana GP Chief and several others were felicitated.

T Taranath Kottari, Chief Convenor of the Sri Gurudeva Grama Vikasa Yojana,Odiyoor welcomed the gathering. Chief Organiser Jagannath Rai proposed the vote of thanks.
