Rohit-SharmaVishakhapatnam: Once again, the brand new dark horse of Indian cricket and ‘Mom’ winner, Rohit Sharma, paired with former under-19 captain of Team India, Virat Kohli (no 24) to hit up 163 runs for the 4th wicket for India, to push West Indies a second time in ODI match in a series of 5 to defeat by 5 wickets and to put the home team up 2-0.

Kohli made a stylish 118, his second century at this Andhra coastal venue, in a chase of 270 runs in 50 overs.

Rohit made a fluent unbeaten 90, to the chagrin of Darren Sammy the West Indies captain, who had marshaled his young team to retaliate.

The capacity crowd had its money’s worth in a match pulsating with a fast bowler Ravi Rampaul coming in last, doing an “R.Ashwin role” for West indies team, with an attacking 86 runs (6 fours and 6 sixes) 66 balls, to frighten Indian players on the ground.
